Sonarr for torrents downloads

Sonarr is a PVR for Usenet and BitTorrent users. It can monitor multiple RSS feeds for new episodes of your favorite shows and will interface with clients and indexers to grab, sort, and rename them. It can also be configured to automatically upgrade the quality of files already downloaded when a better quality format becomes available. r/sonarr. Sonarr is a PVR for Usenet and BitTorrent users. Only one small issue: I’ve setup Deluge as my download client and in “Completed Download Handling” I set the Remove option to Yes, but the torrents stay in Deluge anyway. Sonarr correctly copies the episodes to the tv show folder and renames them, but the original download stays in the download folder and Deluge keeps seeding it.

I configured Sonnar to use TorrentLeech as an Indexer and uTorrent as the download client. Sonarr successfully passes the torrent from TL to uTorrent but the download never starts. In this case the tracker uses https. When the tracker uses https, the torrent never starts, it remains at 0% in the download queue. Currently sonarr will grab torrents for the missing episodes because the refresh happened while still bulk moving, but the Import task is queued behind Bulk Move so at least I don't end up with multiple, different quality files for a single episode, but it leaves the grabbed, completed, and unwanted torrents in the download clients. I prefer to download off of Usenet over Torrents, so I set up my profile to look like the one below. This will download from Usenet if the file is available on both. After an episode airs, if a torrent shows up, this profile will force Sonarr to wait 3 hours for it to show up on Usenet before downloading.

The first is a problem because the download client will report a download's path as /torrents/bltadwin.ruS01E01/, but in the Sonarr container that might be at /downloads/bltadwin.ruS01E01/. The second is a performance issue and causes problems for seeding torrents. Both problems can be solved with well planned, consistent paths. Sonarr is a PVR for Usenet and BitTorrent users.
